Top-class golf experiences
Welcome to The National, Sweden's national arena for golf and one of Sweden's premier golf hotels. Here, every shot is part of a larger whole, where we aim to create an experience that extends beyond the game itself. Ahead of your round, we have gathered information and guidelines that may be beneficial to review. For those with questions, or who wish to prepare for their visit, you will find practical information here to help you make the most of your experience with us.
Give yourself the conditions
Proper preparation creates conditions on the course and enhances the experience. For those of you visiting us to play out on one of our courses, we want you to have the best possible golf experience. To achieve good scores on the course, preparation is required. Therefore, we recommend golfers to arrive at the facility well in advance and carry out a good warm-up. The golf experience therefore starts at our Trackman Range. Read more about how to get more range balls for your money with our free range card.
Choose the right tee
We want to provide the best possible experience, and therefore we no longer have red, blue, yellow, or white tees. We now use hectometre tees. This means you choose how far you want to play the course. Feel free to try different tees depending on the weather, wind, your form of the day, or to get a new experience when playing our courses more than once.
The Lakes Course has seven tees from tee 48 (4840 metres) to tee 68 (6781 metres). The Links Course has six tees from tee 49 (4950 metres) to tee 68 (6835 metres). Depending on your handicap and the day's conditions, you can choose your own tee/difficulty level and have a better golfing experience. If you are unsure which tee suits you, we can provide a recommendation.
Measurements and peg placement
The banana measurement can be found on all sprinkler caps, the distance is to the front edge of the green.
Booking information
During peak season, it is also important that we make optimal use of the available tee times. This may involve, for example, merging 2-balls into a 4-ball. The reception may alter your booking so that your tee time is slightly adjusted and your group is made up to a 4-ball. This system is applied by most clubs with high occupancy. The aim is, of course, to give as many people as possible the chance to play.
The ambition is to move as few tee times as possible and by as few minutes as possible.
All start times must be registered for arrival in the Min Golf app or at reception.
Cancellation Policy – For More Play on Our Courses
At The National, we aim to deliver top-class golf experiences. We wish to establish the following rules to give more people the chance to play on our courses.
At certain times, we experience extremely high occupancy. Therefore, during peak season, we will carefully ensure that booked times are adhered to. This means that booked times must be fulfilled or cancelled in good time. Generally, cancellations of booked times should be made well in advance (Members 24 hours, guests 48 hours). Exceptions will always be made in cases such as illness. Repeated no-shows will be penalised.
Cancellation Policy – Guest
To confirm your already booked tee time(s), the green fee must be paid 72 hours before arrival. The easiest way to pay the green fee is via your booked tee time in Min Golf.
A full refund of the green fee will be issued if cancellation is made no later than 48 hours before the booked tee time. If cancelled later than 48 hours before, half of the green fee will be refunded up to 24 hours before your tee time. After this, no green fee will be refunded. If your tee time remains unpaid, it means it has not been confirmed and is therefore available to another player.
Cancellation Policy – Member
Bookings can be made far in advance without limit. Normally, each member may have 2 simultaneous bookings on each court. The exception for B-Shareholders is that they may have 3 simultaneous bookings on each court. The main rule is that booked times that will not be used must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Exceptions can be made for ”valid reasons” (illness, etc.).
To ensure that members and guests alike have access to attractive tee times, the following rules apply for any cancellation of a tee time.
- Cancellation deadline: Members are urged to cancel their tee time. past 24 hours before the scheduled start time. This gives other members the opportunity to book the available slot and plan their day on the course.
- Warning: Upon cancellation of a tee time less than 24 hours before the scheduled tee time, the member will receive A warning. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, but it is important to be aware of how one's actions affect other golfers.
- Suspension: After three warnings för sen avbokning kommer medlemmen att bli debiterad en avgift. suspended from booking tee times for a period of 14 days. This is done to ensure that all members have an equal opportunity to enjoy their rounds on the course.

House Rules
Golf buggies
Golf buggies may only be driven on fairways and paths. It is prohibited to drive in the rough and violations may lead to the party being asked to leave the course. Depending on the weather, the course manager may prohibit the use of golf buggies at short notice. Guests can hire a golf buggy for SEK 600 (applies to 18 holes, SEK 800 for 36 holes), members, guest of a member, and guests with a doctor's certificate pay SEK 400. Business Club Member pays 400kr
In fog
For safety reasons, no one may leave the clubhouse until the green on the first hole of the Links Course is visible. When the fog clears, everyone will tee off from the first tee. The first booked tee time will go out first. After that, starts will be sequential. Our experience is that golfers create a good flow by co-operating to fill tee times with full four-balls, and by being ready when it is their turn to tee off. This allows us to make up for delays very quickly in most cases.
When frost
Our Course Manager gives the all-clear when it's time to play, so it's not reception or shop staff who make this decision. Everyone goes out from the first tee. The first booked tee time goes out first. After that, play proceeds continuously. In our experience, golfers create a good flow by co-operating to fill tee times with full 4-balls, and by being ready when it's their turn to tee off. This allows us to make up for delays very quickly in most cases.
Dogs
Leashed dogs are allowed on the courses., ej på greenerna.
