Golf experiences in the top class

Welcome to one of Sweden’s best golf hotels! Here, each stroke is part of a larger story about the passion for experiences and about giving our guests something beyond the expected. For those of you who are looking for answers to certain questions, or are curious to learn more, here we summarize certain rules and information that may be useful to take into account before your experience.

Preparation is key

Proper preparation is key to perform on the course and enhances the experience. For those of you who visit us to play on Links Course and/or Lakes Course, we want you to have the best golfing experience possible. To shoot good scores on the course requires preparation. Therefore, we recommend that golfers arrive at the facility in good time and carry out a good warm-up. The golf experience therefore starts at our Trackman Range. Read more about how you get more range balls for your money with our free range card.

Choose the right tee

We want to provide the best possible experience and therefore we no longer have red-blue-yellow-white tees. We use the Hektometer tee. This means that you choose how far you want to play the course. Feel free to try different tees according to the weather, wind, shape of the day or to get a new experience when you play our courses more times.

The Lakes Course has seven tees from tee 48 (4840 meters) to tee 68 (6781 meters). The Links Course has six tees from tee 49 (4950 meters) to tee 68 (6835 meters). Depending on the handicap and the conditions for the day, you can choose the tee/difficulty yourself and get a better golf experience. If you are not sure which tee suits you, we can make a recommendation.

Dimensions and pin placement

You can find the dimensions of the course on all sprinkler covers, the distance is to the front edge of the green.

An important part for us to deliver top-class golf experiences is to ensure that everyone has access to attractive tee times and a smooth booking experience. We believe in sharing the joy with other golf enthusiasts and creating a community where everyone can enjoy their time on the course. By being aware of your booking and being flexible, you can contribute to a positive experience for everyone.

Rules of procedure

Golf carts

Golf carts may only be driven on fairways and roads. It is forbidden to drive in the rough, and violation may lead to the party having to leave the course. Depending on the weather, the Course Manager may prohibit the use of golf carts at short notice. Guests can rent a golf cart for SEK 600 (valid for 18 holes), members, guest to member and guests with a medical certificate pay SEK 400. Business Club member pays SEK 350

In case of fog

For safety reasons, no one may go out until the green on the first hole of the Links Course is visible from the Hotel. When the fog clears, everyone walks off the first tee. First booked start time is first served. After that, a continuous start takes place. Our experience is that golfers create flow by cooperating to fill tee times with full 4-balls, as well as being ready when it’s their turn to tee off. This means that we catch up with delays very quickly in most cases.

In case of frost

Our Course Manager gives the go-ahead when it is time to play, so it is not the staff at the reception and shop who make this decision. Everyone tees off from the first tee. First booked start time is first served. After that, a continuous start takes place. Our experience is that golfers create flow by cooperating to fill tee times with full 4-balls, as well as being ready when it’s their turn to tee off. Dogs

Leashed dogs are allowed on the fairways, not on the greens. Dogs are not allowed inside the hotel.

Transport

Carts may not be transported on the tee, green, or foregreen. The carts may also not be transported between the green and the bunker. Use the roads as often as possible.

Plantations

If the position, swing or teeing point of the ball is affected by a newly planted tree, the ball must be dropped.

Local rules

We apply some local rules to the Lakes Course and Links Course.
